The MuzArt World Foundation will present WE ARE HOPE an inspirational concert event at the LDS Conference Center on November 9th 2013 to launch its global initiative to reinvest music and arts education into the public school systems. Highlighting the event will be multi-platinum musical prodigy Jackie Evancho. No stranger to Utah with a huge fan base in the Beehive State, Jackie Evancho earlier this year caught the vision of the MuzArt World Foundation and its mission and signed on for WE ARE HOPE. “The We Are Hope concerts are a way for us to improve and give back to our communities and country,” said Pat Melfi, president of the MuzArt World Foundation. “Our aim is to involve parents in their children’s’ education, slash dropout rates, prepare kids for the jobs of tomorrow, and teach creativity by integrating arts and music back into the curriculum.” We Are Hope is the first of a nationwide series of inspirational concerts designed to bring positive attention to the nation’s public schools and to demonstrate how everyone can work together to improve the quality of education through new, innovative teaching methods, music and parental involvement. We Are Hope is the brainchild of Pat Melfi, who enlisted the talents of Ken Kragen who also created and produced, “We are the World,” “Hands Across America” “Live Aid” and “USA for Africa”. The concert is sponsored by NuSkin, Crystal Tones, Alexas Event Management, Beverly Hills 310, Jonathan’s Jewelry, StarPointe Records, Daynes Music and Burton Lumber.
